“Why do I buy from The Collins Cluckery? I have known Jen and her family for many years, so it is easy to trust them. It is great to be able to personally see how they take care of the chickens, and to hear about what they are fed. Antibiotics are not welcome in my home---including in my meat or eggs, so I especially love that she uses homeopathy for the chickens whenever they have issues! I have bought chicken from other family suppliers, but that cannot be said of them. It is worth a 90 minute drive to the country for quality in my freezer for months---especially since I don't have to drive it every day. We enjoy The Collins Cluckery's fresh eggs each morning and, in the springtime, everyone can see the bold colors of healthy yolks. But most of all, I appreciate Jen's love and dedication to "everything poultry," whether it is educating customers or teaching a class about chickens to children!” Sandy L.

“I can’t eat the deli chicken. It’s so squishy, it makes me want to puke. I need YOUR chicken.” Bekah C. (True confessions: Bekah is one of our kids! 😉 It amuses me to put these in here…but goodness, it’s music to a mom’s ears!)

“It’s so clean. It’s just so clean. I can’t believe it.” Scott N. (Scott would like chickens of his own some day, so he came out to learn how to butcher chickens. This was his estimation of our poultry processing. I owe Scott a great debt of gratitude, by the way, because although he was there to learn, he saw a hole in our system and jumped in to fill it. The one change we made because of his observation will save us HOURS of work over the next few years. Thanks, Scott!)
