Chicken Feet - 1 lb. package

$6.25

Send your stocks soaring! What could be better than homemade chicken stock (aka bone broth) from pastured chicken? Why, chicken stock with collagen-filled chicken feet, of course!

Not convinced yet? Read on…

Is your hair brittle? Is your gut leaky? Are your nerves “shot?” Then you need chicken feet. Chicken feet are full of gelatin and collagen…think soft hair, strong nails, and smooth skin. Think joint-building, gut-soothing, and nerve-healing.

I know, I know. Chicken feet are weird. And aren’t they filthy? I mean, they walk around in…well, you know.

Nope! During the cleaning process, the feet are thoroughly cleaned AND PEELED, so anything that touched the ground is gone, and you just get pure nutrition.

I wouldn’t recommend making your stock completely out of chicken feet. My “rule of thumb” is that every chicken has two feet, right? So if I’m making stock from the bones of ONE chicken, I might add two feet. If I’ve been freezing chicken bones for a while and am ready to make stock, I’ll add feet accordingly.

But wait…there’s more!

Look carefully at some of the pictures, and you’ll see me and some of my more courageous ;-) children trying an old Southern delicacy, Fried Chicken Feet! They were…interesting. Quite tasty, really, and the more I talk to my customers, the more I hear of various cultural recipes like Dim Sum.

Pets love ‘em, too. Dehydrated chicken feet not only nourish your best friend, but clean their teeth as well!
