The first batch of 2026 Pastured Poultry is expected to be ready the week of June 22.

Chicken hearts sauteed in a little butter, with a sprinkle of salt and parsley…sounds like lunch to me! (Especially if I’m lucky enough to have a chicken liver on hand to sauté up with it!)

Research shows that eating organs, what most Americans consider the “throw-away” parts, helps OUR organs! I can’t swear that’s true, but it sounds good to me, and I do love a chicken heart. The texture is unique…chewy…and definitely an acquired taste - but I LOVE them. And so do so many of you!
